  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts

  • 2 pieces Shallots, finely chopped
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 200 grams Mushrooms, sliced
  • 60 milliliters Whisky
  • 250 milliliters Chicken stock
  • 120 milliliters Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper. Lightly dust them with all-purpose flour, shaking off the excess.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the olive oil. Once the butter is foamy, add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Stir in the chopped shallots, cooking for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
