  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup Pesto sauce
  • 0.25 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh basil leaves, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
