  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 4 cups white rice (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, hoisin sauce, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to form a slurry. Set aside.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Add the chicken thighs to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
