  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 8 Tortillas (flour or corn)
  • 0.25 cup Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and set aside in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Thinly slice the red, yellow, and green bell peppers, as well as the onion, and set aside.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil, juice of 1 lime, minced garlic, chili powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.

Pour the marinade over the chicken strips, ensuring all pieces are well-coated, and let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for deeper flavor).
