Ingredients

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 250 ml Water
  • 50 g Ghee
  • 2 large Ripe bananas
  • 100 g Chocolate chips
  • 50 g Crushed peanuts
  • 100 ml Condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Directions

Step 1

Combine the flour, salt, and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Gradually add water while you mix the ingredients together to form a dough.

Step 2

Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If it's too sticky, add a bit more flour; if too dry, add a bit more water.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape them into balls.

Step 4

Coat each ball lightly with ghee, cover with a damp cloth, and let them rest for at least 2 hours to relax the dough.

Step 5

Peel and slice the bananas; set aside.

Step 6

Flatten one dough ball on a lightly oiled surface. Stretch it out as thinly as possible by lifting the edges and pulling gently, until almost translucent.

Step 7

Sprinkle a little ghee on the surface of the stretched dough.

Step 8

Place a few slices of banana, a handful of chocolate chips, and a small amount of crushed peanuts in the center.

Step 9

Drizzle with a little condensed milk.

Step 10

Fold the edges of the dough towards the center to seal the stuffing, forming a rectangle.

Step 11

Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 12

Place the stuffed prata in the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Press down lightly with a spatula for even cooking.

Step 13

Repeat the stretching, filling, and cooking process with the remaining dough balls and fillings.

Step 14

Serve the Prata Bombs warm, optionally with more condensed milk drizzled on top.
