  • 3 large Russet potatoes
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour

  • 4 pieces Large eggs

  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Peel and dice the russet potatoes, then place them in a pot of cold, salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and mash them until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
