  • 3 cups Bread flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Active dry yeast

Directions

Step 1

In a small skillet over medium heat, sauté the minced garlic and finely chopped onion in olive oil until they are soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and let this sofrito mixture cool slightly.

Add water, sugar, salt, oregano, parsley, and the sofrito mixture into the bread pan of your bread machine. Ensure the sofrito mixture is evenly mixed into the liquid ingredients.

Add the bread flour to the bread pan, spreading it evenly over the liquid ingredients.
