Ingredients

  • 500 grams Boneless pork loin
  • 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Cut the boneless pork loin into thin bite-sized strips and season with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Stir well to combine to form the marinade.

Step 3

Pour half of the marinade over the pork strips, ensuring each piece is coated. Reserve the other half of the marinade for the sauce. Let the pork marinate for 10 minutes while you prepare other ingredients.

Step 4

In a larger bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Set aside.

Step 5

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 6

Add the marinated pork to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.

Step 7

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add sesame oil. Pour in the reserved marinade and let it simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 8

Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another minute, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Step 9

Return the cooked pork to the skillet, tossing it in the sauce to coat evenly. Let it cook for 1-2 additional minutes.

Step 10

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Step 11

Serve hot over steamed rice or with stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
