Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Bone-in pork chops
  • 6 cups Dry stuffing mix
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons Salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 pound Fresh green beans
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Season the pork chops on both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Step 4

In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth and 2 tablespoons of butter to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in the dry stuffing mix. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes, then fluff the stuffing with a fork.

Step 5

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread half of the prepared stuffing in the bottom of the dish.

Step 6

Place the seared pork chops on top of the stuffing, then spread the remaining stuffing around the edges of the pork chops.

Step 7

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp up the stuffing.

Step 8

While the pork chops bake, trim the ends of the green beans and rinse well.

Step 9

In a large skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 10

Add the green beans to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, tossing frequently, until tender but still slightly crisp.

Step 11

Drizzle the lemon juice over the green beans and season with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Toss to coat.

Step 12

Optional: Sprinkle the green beans with Parmesan cheese just before serving.

Step 13

Once the pork chops and stuffing are finished baking, remove the dish from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Step 14

Serve the pork chops and stuffing alongside the sautéed green beans. Enjoy your hearty and delicious meal!
