Ingredients

  • 4 pieces pork chops (bone-in or boneless)

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces white or cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Step 2

Dredge the pork chops lightly in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside. (Note: They don't need to be fully cooked at this stage.)
