  • 4 pieces Pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 pieces Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 4 sprigs Fresh thyme
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Honey

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the pan and allow it to become hot but not smoking.

Place the pork chops in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove the pork chops and set them aside on a plate.
