Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Season the pork chops on both sides with the salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and butter.

Step 3

Once the butter has melted, add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the pork chops and set them aside on a plate.

Step 4

Reduce the heat to medium. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.

Step 5

Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze and release any browned bits. Let the broth simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 6

Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and whole grain mustard. Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 7

Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the mustard sauce over them. Allow them to simmer in the sauce for 2–3 minutes to reheat and soak up the flavors.

Step 8

Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley on top before serving. Serve the pork chops hot with the sauce drizzled over them.
