Ingredients

  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, pour in the chicken broth and use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

Step 4

Whisk in the honey, Dijon mustard, and whole grain mustard until fully combined. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes to slightly reduce.

Step 5

Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 6

Return the pork chops to the skillet, spoon the sauce over them, and cover the skillet. Cook for another 10-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C).

Step 7

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
