Ingredients

  • 1 pound Boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, sliced
  • 3 stalks Celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 large Carrot, julienned
  • 2 cups Bean sprouts
  • 1 cup Bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 1 cup Water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 4 servings Cooked rice

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the boneless pork chops into bite-sized strips.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Add the sliced pork and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or deep skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the pork until it is browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the pork from the wok and set aside.

Step 4

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the wok. Stir-fry the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant, then add the onion, celery, and carrot. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.

Step 5

Add the bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

Step 6

Pour the chicken broth into the wok and bring it to a simmer. Return the cooked pork to the wok and mix with the vegetables.

Step 7

Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.

Step 8

Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately over cooked rice.
