Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground pork
  • 150 g Mushrooms
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Finely chop the mushrooms and green onions. Mince the garlic cloves.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped mushrooms, minced garlic, and green onions.

Step 3

Add soy sauce, breadcrumbs, sesame oil, salt, black pepper, and the egg into the bowl.

Step 4

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a spoon until well combined.

Step 5

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 2 cm thick.

Step 6

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat.

Step 7

Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the pan, being careful not to overcrowd them. Cook in batches if necessary.

Cook each patty for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 71°C (160°F) and the patties are browned and cooked through.

Transfer the cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
