  • 500 g Pork shoulder (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 10 slices Smoked bacon slices
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 8 pieces Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Directions

Step 1

Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.

Step 2

In a large bowl, prepare the marinade by combining olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Add the pork shoulder cubes to the marinade and toss well to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the pork marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

Cut each bacon slice in half. Wrap one piece of bacon around each cube of marinated pork and secure it with a skewer. Each skewer should hold about 3-4 bacon-wrapped pork cubes.
