Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground pork
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple
  • 1 small Yellow onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 60 ml Milk
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp Ground nutmeg
  • 60 ml Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2

Peel and grate the Granny Smith apple using a box grater, discarding the core.

Step 3

Finely dice the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, grated apple, diced onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, and milk.

Add parsley, salt, ground black pepper, and nutmeg to the mixture. Mix thoroughly with your hands or a wooden spoon until well combined.
