Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pizza dough
  • 6 slices Deli ham
  • 6 slices Deli salami
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup Banana peppers (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour (for dusting)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Lightly dust your work surface with flour. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 12x10 inches.

Step 3

Layer the deli ham evenly over the dough, leaving about 1-inch of border on all sides.

Step 4

Next, layer the salami slices on top of the ham, followed by the provolone cheese slices.

Step 5

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the layers and add banana peppers if using.

Step 6

Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the filling.

Step 7

Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll the dough into a log, tucking the ends to seal them.

Step 8

Carefully transfer the rolled stromboli, seam side down, onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 9

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash. Brush the egg wash over the surface of the stromboli.

Step 10

Cut 3-4 small slits on top of the stromboli to allow steam to escape while baking.

Step 11

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cooked through.

Step 12

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
