  • 1 whole Yellow bell pepper
  • 1.5 cups Fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 4 cups Cooked jasmine rice (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the flank steak into strips, cutting against the grain to ensure tenderness.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the steak strips to the marinade, cover, and let sit for at least 15 minutes (up to 1 hour for more intense flavor).

While the steak marinates, slice the red and yellow bell peppers into thin strips. Chop the green onions into small pieces, separating the green tops from the white portions.
