Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried prunes
  • 1 cup Dried apricots
  • 1 cup Dried pears
  • 0.5 cup Raisins
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  • 3 whole Cloves
  • 6 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup Cold water
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the dried prunes, apricots, and pears under cold water to remove any debris, then chop them into bite-sized pieces if needed.

Step 2

In a large pot, combine the dried prunes, apricots, pears, raisins, sugar, cinnamon stick, cloves, and 6 cups of water.

Step 3

Place the pot over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 25–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit becomes tender and the flavors meld together.

Step 4

Discard the cinnamon stick and cloves once the soup has simmered to extract their flavor.

Step 5

In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and cold water until smooth to create a slurry.

Step 6

Gradually add the cornstarch slurry to the fruit soup while stirring constantly. Allow the soup to simmer for another 3–5 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Step 7

Stir in the lemon juice to balance the sweetness. Taste and adjust with more sugar or lemon juice, if needed.

Step 8

Remove the pot from the heat and let the Plumi Moos cool slightly. Serve it warm or chilled as desired. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
