Ingredients

  • 1 package Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 0.5 cup Marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup Sliced pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 can Non-stick cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lightly spraying it with non-stick cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.

Step 2

Lightly flour a clean surface to prevent sticking, then carefully unroll the crescent roll dough into a large rectangle. Press the seams together gently to seal.

Step 3

Spread the marinara or pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border clean around the edges.

Step 4

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly across the surface of the dough. Then, layer the sliced pepperoni, ensuring they're spread out evenly.

Step 5

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, dried Italian seasoning, and garlic powder over the top of the pepperoni and cheese.

Step 6

Starting from one of the long edges, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Use your hands to compress gently as you roll to ensure even layers.

Step 7

Once rolled, use a sharp knife to cut the log into 12 equal slices.

Step 8

Arrange the pinwheels onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them at least an inch apart to allow for expansion while baking.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden-brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 10

Remove from the oven and let the pinwheels cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with additional marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
