Ingredients

  • 3 pieces Large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Pizza sauce
  • 0.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 pieces Pepperoni slices
  • 2 tablespoons Bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon Black olives (sliced)
  • 0.25 teaspoons Dried oregano
  • 2 pieces Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with milk, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil, swirling to coat the pan evenly.

Step 3

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes, gently lifting the edges of the omelette with a spatula to let uncooked egg flow underneath.

Step 4

Once the top of the omelette is slightly set but still a little runny, spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface.

Step 5

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce, followed by pepperoni slices, diced bell peppers, and black olives.

Step 6

Cover the skillet with a lid and reduce the heat to low. Allow the cheese to melt and the toppings to heat through, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 7

When the cheese is fully melted and the omelette is cooked through, carefully slide it onto a plate.

Step 8

Sprinkle the dried oregano over the top and garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.

Step 9

Serve immediately and enjoy your pizza-inspired omelette!
