Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 0.5 lb Italian sausage
  • 0.75 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Pizza sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Onion powder
  • 12 Pepperoni slices
  • 1 as needed Cooking spray
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, egg, pizza sauce, Parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly with your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Step 3

Divide the meat mixture evenly among the 12 muffin cups, pressing it down lightly to form small meatloaf cups.

Step 4

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Remove the muffin tin from the oven and carefully spoon a little more pizza sauce on top of each meatloaf cup.
