Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 8 slices (canned or fresh) Pineapple rings
  • 8 whole cherries Maraschino cherries
  • 2 cans Refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 0.33 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 4 ounces (softened) Cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and cook until dissolved and bubbling, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Pour the brown sugar mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Arrange the pineapple rings over the brown sugar mixture in a single layer. Place one maraschino cherry in the center of each pineapple ring.

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
