Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 4 pieces Pineapple slices (fresh or canned)
  • 4 whole Burger buns
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 4 pieces Cheddar cheese slices
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp Barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until well combined.

Step 2

Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties slightly larger than the diameter of the burger buns.

Step 3

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.

Step 4

Grill the burger patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.

Step 5

While the patties are cooking, grill the pineapple slices for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly caramelized and grill marks appear.

Step 6

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a dry skillet until golden brown.

Step 7

Mix mayonnaise and barbecue sauce in a small bowl to create a tangy spread.

Step 8

To assemble the burgers, spread a tablespoon of the mayonnaise-barbecue mixture on the bottom half of each bun.

Step 9

Place a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese.

Step 10

Add a grilled pineapple slice on top of the beef patty, then cover with the top half of the bun.

Step 11

Serve immediately with your favorite sides like fries, coleslaw, or a simple salad.
