  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Mashed bananas (about 2-3 medium bananas)
  • 0.75 cup Crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 0.5 cup Chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter using a hand or stand mixer until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
