Ingredients

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • 0.5 cup pesto sauce
  • 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 small garlic cloves
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to package instructions (about 3-4 minutes). Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
