Ingredients

  • 500 grams potatoes
  • 100 grams ground beef
  • 3 pieces shallots
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped celery leaves
  • 1 piece large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 200 milliliters vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Peel and cube the potatoes. Place them in a pot of boiling water and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let them cool slightly.

Step 2

Mash the potatoes until smooth and set aside.

Step 3

In a skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat and sauté the ground beef until browned and cooked through. Set aside.

Finely chop the shallots and garlic. Add them to the mashed potatoes along with the sautéed ground beef.

Mix in the ground nutmeg, white pepper, chopped celery leaves, egg, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is evenly seasoned.
