  • 500 grams boneless chicken thighs
  • 330 ml Pepsi
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain.

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rice and 1/2 teaspoon of salt, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the water is fully absorbed. Fluff with a fork and set aside.
