Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Beef chuck roast
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 10 ounces Pepperoncini peppers (with juice)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix

Directions

Step 1

Pat the beef chuck roast dry with paper towels and season all sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the roast on all sides until a golden-brown crust forms, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Place the seared roast in a slow cooker.
