Ingredients

  • 2 shots Espresso
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Peppermint syrup
  • 0.25 cup Whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon Crushed candy canes (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Brew 2 shots of espresso using an espresso machine or a stovetop moka pot. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium heat until steaming but not boiling. Alternatively, use a milk frother to steam and froth the milk.

Step 3

In a large mug, pour the 2 tablespoons of peppermint syrup.

Step 4

Add the brewed espresso into the mug and stir to combine with the peppermint syrup.
