  • 12 oz penne pasta

  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and cut the stalks into 2-inch pieces.

Step 3

Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
