Ingredients

  • 400 grams Penne pasta
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili flakes
  • 800 grams Canned whole tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Peel and finely slice the garlic cloves and add them to the skillet. Sauté the garlic until it is golden, but not browned, for about 2 minutes.

Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir for 1 minute to release their flavors.
