Ingredients

  • 115 grams unsalted butter
  • 100 grams granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100 grams all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 75 grams chopped pecans

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar using a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the vanilla extract and mix until well incorporated.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined, but be careful not to overmix.
