Ingredients

  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup Pecans, finely chopped
  • 0.33 cup Dried cranberries, finely chopped
  • 0.125 tsp Salt

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the room-temperature cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth and well combined.

Step 2

Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the cream cheese mixture and beat until a soft dough forms.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 24 equal portions and roll them into small balls. Press each ball into the bottom and up the sides of a mini muffin tin to form a shell. Place the tray into the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.

Step 4

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 5

In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

Step 6

Fold in the chopped pecans and cranberries until well mixed.

Step 7

Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of the filling mixture into each chilled dough shell, ensuring the filling does not overflow.

Step 8

Bake the tassies in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.

Step 9

Remove the tassies from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before carefully transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 10

Serve and enjoy these delightful Pecan Cranberry Tassies, or store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
