Ingredients

  • 115 grams unsalted butter
  • 170 grams semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 200 grams granulated sugar
  • 50 grams light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 95 grams all-purpose flour
  • 25 grams cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 120 grams creamy peanut butter
  • 30 grams powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoons milk

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease or line a 9x9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.

Step 3

Whisk the granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted chocolate mixture until combined.

Step 4

Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 5

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Step 6

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.

Step 7

In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth and creamy.

Step 8

Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture onto the brownie batter, then use a knife to gently swirl the peanut butter throughout the batter to create a marble effect.

Step 9

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Do not overbake.

Step 10

Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
