Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Protein powder (vanilla or chocolate flavor)
  • 1 cup Peanut butter (natural, creamy)
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 0.25 cup Milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 0.33 cup Dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a bit of overhang for easy removal later.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, and salt. Stir thoroughly to ensure they are well mixed.

Step 3

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the peanut butter and honey. Microwave for 30 seconds, or until the mixture becomes soft and easy to stir. Mix well until smooth.

Step 4

Add the vanilla extract and milk to the peanut butter and honey mixture. Stir until fully combined.

Step 5

Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl. Use a spatula or your hands to mix everything together until you have a thick dough-like consistency.

Step 6

Once the mixture is combined, fold in the dark chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.

Step 7

Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Press it down firmly and evenly using the back of a spatula or your hands to create a flat, compact layer.

Step 8

Refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours or until the mixture is firm and set.

Step 9

Once set, remove the bars from the dish using the parchment paper overhang. Place on a cutting board and slice into 12 equal bars.

Step 10

Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
