  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine the honey and granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture begins to dissolve and comes to a gentle simmer. Do not let it boil.

Remove the saucepan from heat and immediately stir in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.

In a large mixing bowl, measure out 6 cups of crispy rice cereal. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal and gently stir with a spatula until all the cereal is evenly coated.
