Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 0.75 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg, large
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon orange gel food coloring
  • 0.5 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup green candy melts

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Add the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Beat until well combined.

Step 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
