Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment to cream the softened unsalted butter and creamy peanut butter together on medium speed until smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

Step 2

Reduce the speed to low and gradually add the powdered sugar, about 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition to incorporate and prevent clumps.

Step 3

Once the powdered sugar is fully incorporated, turn the mixer back to medium speed and beat in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix for about 2–3 minutes until the frosting is light and creamy.

Step 4

Taste the frosting and add a pinch more salt if needed to balance the sweetness.

Step 5

If the frosting is too thick, add additional heavy cream, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you've reached your desired consistency. If it's too thin, add a bit more powdered sugar, 1/4 cup at a time.

Step 6

Use immediately to frost your dessert of choice, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Bring to room temperature and re-whip before using if refrigerated.
