Ingredients

  • 1 cup Peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1.5 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter in the microwave on a low setting or over a double boiler on the stovetop.

Step 2

Add the melted butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, vanilla extract, and salt to a mixing bowl. Mix well until fully combined and the mixture turns into a thick dough-like consistency.

Step 3

Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the dish. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth it out.

Step 4

In another microwave-safe bowl, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring after each round, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat.

Step 5

Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and spread it evenly with a spatula while it's still warm.

Step 6

Refrigerate the dish for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate has hardened and the bars are firm.

Step 7

Once set, remove the dish from the refrigerator and cut the treats into 12 equal-sized squares or bars.

Step 8

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
