Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.25 cup Cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, cream cheese, and peanut butter. Beat using a hand or stand mixer until smooth and fully combined.

Step 3

Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the bowl and mix until creamy and fluffy.

Step 4

Crack in the egg and add the vanilla extract. Beat again until the egg is fully incorporated.

Step 5

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

Step 6

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Step 7

Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips evenly using a rubber spatula.

Step 8

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Step 9

Gently press down on the dough balls with the back of a spoon to slightly flatten them.

Step 10

Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked, which is fine.

Step 11

Remove the baking sheets from the oven and allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 12

Serve and enjoy the chewy, peanut buttery goodness!
