Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese
  • 1/3 cup peach preserves
  • 3 tablespoons hot pepper jelly
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Thaw the frozen puff pastry sheets according to the package instructions. Once thawed, roll out the sheets slightly on a clean, lightly floured surface.

Step 3

Using a round cutter (about 2.5 inches in diameter), cut out 24 circles from the puff pastry. Place each circle in a mini muffin tin, pressing gently to form a cup shape.

Step 4

Cut the Brie cheese into 24 small cubes, approximately 1-inch in size. Place one cube of Brie into each puff pastry cup.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix the peach preserves and hot pepper jelly until well combined. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of the mixture on top of each Brie cube in the pastry cups.

Step 6

In another small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash. Lightly brush the edges of the puff pastry cups with the egg wash for a golden finish.

Step 7

Bake the puff pastry cups in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.

Step 8

Remove the cups from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes in the tin. Carefully transfer them to a serving platter and garnish with fresh thyme leaves, if desired.

Step 9

Serve warm and enjoy the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and creamy flavors.
