  • 2 sheets Frozen puff pastry sheets
  • 2 Medium pawpaws (papayas), ripe

  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)
  • 6 leaves Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Thaw the puff pastry sheets according to the package directions. Once thawed, roll them out on a lightly floured surface to smooth any creases.

Cut the puff pastry sheets into 6 equal squares and transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

Peel the pawpaws (papayas), remove the seeds, and cut the flesh into small cubes. Place the cubes in a medium bowl.
