Ingredients

  • 2 large Ripe bananas
  • 1 cup Almond butter
  • 2 cups Rolled oats
  • 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
  • 0.25 cup Dark chocolate chips
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal later.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth and free of large chunks.

Step 3

Add almond butter, honey, and a scoop of protein powder to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined.

Step 4

Mix in the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt. Fold the mixture together until it forms a thick, sticky dough.

Step 5

Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Step 6

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Use the back of a spoon or spatula to spread it evenly and press it firmly into the pan.

Step 7

Place the dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours or until the mixture is firm and set.

Step 8

Once firm, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Place them on a cutting board and slice into 12 equal bars.

Step 9

Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days, or freeze for longer storage.
