Ingredients

  • 500 grams Potatoes
  • 100 grams Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 100 grams All-purpose flour
  • 150 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 500 milliliters Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced

Directions

Step 1

Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Boil them in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain well and mash until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes with the crumbled feta cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, dill, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Add one beaten egg to the mixture and stir well to bind the ingredients together.
