Ingredients

  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and grated
  • 400 grams canned chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until it becomes translucent.
