Ingredients

  • 400 grams Penne pasta
  • 500 grams Ground pork
  • 1.5 cups Sweet corn kernels (frozen or canned)
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 0.5 cup Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground pork, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
