  • 300 grams Spaghetti or pasta of choice

  • 4 pieces Garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 250 grams Cremini or button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 150 milliliters Heavy cream
  • 50 grams Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 80 grams Black or Kalamata olives, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red chili flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter is fully melted.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
