  • 2 pieces Chicken breast
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 12 oz Pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoons Red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
